Designed to enhance both the efficiency of filtration and the sustainability of aquatic ecosystems, B-BOX have arrived to provide superior filtration while minimizing environmental impact through the unique compostable properties of the biodegradable coating. Once the filter cartridges have reached the end of their lifespan, their coating can be simply removed and composted along with the organic waste, and the inner filter material potential for reuse as plant substrates, minimizing waste. 

The B-BOX cartridges combine mechanical, biological, and chemical filtration methods. Mechanical filtration efficiently removes debris and waste particles, keeping your aquarium water crystal clear and free of impurities. Biological filtration harnesses the power of beneficial bacteria to break down harmful substances, ensuring a balanced and healthy aquatic ecosystem. The chemical filtration removes dissolved wastes from water, such as chlorine, ammonia or phosphate.

It helps to keep water crystal clear. It prevents and eliminates colours, odours, chlorine, chloramines and toxic metals. NOTE: in the case of fish treatment, this filter media must be removed.

Monthly replacement.

It creates an ecosystem between fish and plants. It consumes amonium/ammonia and nitrites. Provides more space for nitrifying bacteria.

Replacement every 5 months.
