The Luminus controller's sole function is to manage LED lighting systems, allowing you to programme the operating time, controlling all the parameters independently and as desired by the user. It allows you to programme up to 4 light intervals on each of the two channels of your EASY LED 2.0 and adjust the light intensity. Luminus works via a mobile app and connects via Bluetooth. Ori is a more versatile wifi device that allows you to manage your aquarium in its entirety, including lighting, filters and temperature. Using the Ori app, you can control the operation of your aquariums (you can register any number of aquariums) and RGBW LED lights, programming numerous time intervals, colours and intensity. Enter the filtration systems so that Ori can alert you whenever a filter media needs to be replaced. Using the temperature probe (sold separately), you can set the minimum and maximum temperature values you want, so that Ori can alert you whenever the temperature exceeds the set values. Note: to connect Ori to an EASY LED 2.0, you will need to purchase the LED connector cable (sold separately).
To connect EASY LED light units to the ORI, you will need a LED connector (sold separately). To take advantage of all the ORI features with your EASY LED 2.0 light unit, you will need 2x ORI controllers (one for each light channel) and 2x LED connectors.
To monitor the temperature of your aquarium, install the temperature probe developed for this purpose (sold separately) by submerging it in the water. The ORI device has an inlet for connecting the temperature probe. Once connected, you can control the temperature of your aquarium in the ORI App. Enter the range of minimum and maximum temperature values so that whenever the temperature values exceed the set values, you will receive an alert.
To monitor the temperature and humidity of your terrarium, install the probe developed for this purpose (sold separately). The ORI device has an input for connecting the terrarium probe. Once connected, you can monitor the temperature and humidity of your terrarium in the ORI App. Enter the range of minimum and maximum temperature/humidity values so that whenever the temperature/humidity values exceed the set values, you will receive an alert.
Through its App, ORI alerts you to the need to replace the filter media and when the temperature or humidity exceeds the set values. After the first notification, the App sends it again at intervals of 10 minutes, 30 minutes, 1 hour, 3 hours, 6 hours and 12 hours. From here on, the frequency will be progressively lower. During this period, if you click on the "confirm" or "ignore" button, the notifications will stop. After 12 hours, the application will stop sending notifications automatically, even if the customer hasn't done anything.
If, when trying to connect to the ORI, you see the message 'this device already exists,' it means there is already an account associated with that device. Remove all accounts from that ORI and try connecting again.
The colours of the RGBW LEDs can be set easily via the ORI controller. Connect your luminaire(s) to the ORI controller and connect to the ORI App. Using the application, you can select the values (in percentages) of the colours, as well as the overall intensity of the lighting. Once set, select the ‘preview’ button so that in a few seconds the luminaire simulates the operation set for the entire day.
To start using the new B-BOX cartridges in your old Mini Biobox or Biobox filter, simply buy the appropriate conversion kit (there are two versions for Mini Biobox and Biobox), insert the B-BOX filter media inside each modular cup in the kit and install the complete kit inside your filter. It’s ready to work.

The Biobox filters are provided with an instruction guide that includes important information that should be read and understood.
Before filling the aquarium, place the filter in the right place. Don’t forget to remove the protective films of the filter recharges (EasyBox Activated Carbon and EasyBox Aquaclay). Verify the positioning of the pump and the heater (if included) and place in the filter output the guiding flow piece. Fill the aquarium. Switch on the equipment and confirm the well-functioning of the filter. Place the filter cover.
The purpose of all filter cartridges is to keep the aquarium in excellent condition and as clean as possible. However, misuse and replacement of the refills may impair the proper functioning of the aquarium. To avoid this, you must respect the rules of replacement that vary in a time interval depending on the type of the EasyBox cartridge. On all the filter cartridges boxes you will find the indication of this replacement interval time which varies between 1 week and 8 months. To avoid an imbalance in the water in your aquarium, do not perform the replacement of cartridges with different features at the same time.
Before proceeding to the filter maintenance, always unplug all the electrical devices. All the refills were designed to keep the aquarium in excellent condition and as clean as possible. However, the misuse and replacement of the filter cartridges can harm the proper functioning of the aquarium. To avoid this, you must respect the replacement rules that vary over a period of time depending on the type of filtration. You have to use the 2 channels of Luminus so the Storm mode can work correctly.
When the Storm mode is chosen, the channel 1 goes OFF and the channel 2, in a space time of 10 minutes reduces the light intensity in order to simulate the natural darkening of the sky during a Storm. At the end of those 10 minutes and during 30 minutes, the flashes start (simulating the natural environment of a thunderstorm). At the end of that time, the functions of the Lighting Systems are restored.
Note: When the Storm mode is triggered, the current functions will be interrupted so that Storm mode can start.
Yes, as long as the defined maximum electrical currents are respected.
The EASY LED controllers are devices that allow you to control the operation of the LED lamps, scheduling the time to switch on (gradual increase of light intensity) and switch off (gradual decrease of the light intensity). To ensure its full operation, you should carefully follow ALL the steps of the instructions included in the product package. After the correct programming, the controller should work properly.
The EASY LED Control 1 has 1 channel (1 outlet). The channel has two available schedules.
